Back again with another walkthrough, I've seen some people were confused with the dungeon layout and order so decided to try and map it out. Keep in mind that as with Witches Lab, this game has no CG Gallery that I can find, so save near the H-scene markers if you want to replay them. I've tried exploring most avenues in the hopes of finding interesting things, but if I've missed something, give me a PM and I'll try adding it to the guide. Without further ado, the guide. [Prologue] - Waiting around will cause a letter to come through the postbox - Examining the letter will prompt a path decision. - Going out the door will start your game for real, going back to bed will shut down the game as a non-standard gameover. [Backstreets back alright] Starting from the beginning: - Go up towards the left alleyway, follow that path until you reach the rightmost building and enter it (dialogue about either entering or mentally preparing will show you the correct door). - Take a seat when prompted to choose betwen the two game modes LEWD - Titillating but not pornographic ADULT - The porn, which is why you're here right? The game mode cannot be changed once you have made your decision unless you start a new game. - When prompted leave the room and go to room 5 in the Hallway, although you can listen in on Room 1 and 3 to hear mildly interesting dialogue about what this shadowy organisation offers. - Going into Room 5 and you'll be offered a contract, which brings up the core mechanic of the game: You'll find yourself in situations where you may get H'd if you fail the requirements or get caught by pursuers, getting H'd more than 6 times triggers the flag for the bad ending. For the time being, any scenario which may lead to a bad end will be referred to as adding to the 'Crest Count' and will be preceded by a [H-Scene/Crest Count Warning] along with a description of the H-scene. For now accept the contract. [The Dream World - Hub] Entering the Dream world you'll be told you need to collect 3 Treasures from each dungeon before you wake up again. Each dungeon is represented by a crystal Blue Crystal - Forest/ Orc Temple Red Crystal - Wutai world/ Lord's Castle Green Crystal - Casino nights Some of these require the use of the items you'll find in other dungeons to complete them, so there'll likely be some back and forth. I'll try and keep it concise for a short playthrough. Seeing as only the blue crystal is active, let's start there. [Forest] - Head up a screen to reach an orc camp and the entrance to the first dungeon, orcs outside are friendly and shouldn't bother you. Head into the Forest Dungeon. [Orc Temple - 1F] MAP ________ _________ ________ ___________ | _____| | | | | |V______ | | |_____ | | | | _H_____| | | ____P_| |_____ __| |_ ____| |________ _| || ||_____ _____|| || ||___ | | | | ___|| | | | E | | O | | | Key |__ _| | _____| |______ | |_ ___| V - Vase || || || || H - Hole in wall _||___________|| ____ _||___________||_ P - Permanent Marker (Item) | ____________| |_ _| |____________ | O - Orc cleaner |_ | || |__ | E - Event Angel statue ||______ __||___ _____ || | |_______| |___________| | |___________________ ______________________| |X| - Entering the dungeon you'll see two orcs guarding a staircase, they will not let you pass at the moment. - Head up and to the right to find a room with a vase, a hole in the wall and a switch. This is a timed puzzle. [Break the vase] [H-Scene/Crest Count Warning - Spanking] The solution for this one is to wait for a while at the bottom centre of the room after you break the vase. As soon as the orc enters the screen, enter the hole and then mash 'Z' 17 times in 3 seconds to pass through to the bottom room. Loop back up quickly and flick the switch which will lock the door, trapping the orc. - Go to the room marked with an O on the map to talk to an orc cleaner to find that he doesn't want to clean more graffiti, then head back to the staircase the orcs are guarding. - Head up and to the left to get to a room blocked by a box, use the Z key to push it and head to the room on the right to find a chest with the [Permanent Marker] - Using it on the Angel statue on the left will prompt you to doodle on it, head back to the orc guard at the stairs and tell him to clean it. - The staircase is now open, head up the stairs to the 2nd floor. [Orc Temple - 2nd Floor Swimming Pool] Not much to see here, there's a Women's changing room and Toilet that do nothing, and a male area you can't enter. Go up to the tightrope to do a small balance game, getting a bullseye will move you two spaces forward, getting a yellow marker will move you one space. The further you go, the faster the needle moves, so try and aim for a perfect if possible. 7 successes or 4 perfects minimum will get you across. Failure will show a static cg as you fall in the pool. Once you've passed the game, go up the ladder. [Orc Temple - 3rd Floor] As implied there is a crate puzzle to start. [Crate Puzzle - More than good, it's Crate!] ABCDE ||_S_|| 1 | | 2 |XX XX| 3 | XXX | 4 |X X| 5 | XXX | X - Box 6 |XX XX| L - Ladder 7 | X | S - Switch 8 | X | 9 |__L__| [H-Scene/ Crest Count Warning - Boobjob] This seems fairly simple at first, but of note is that there are vents on each wall face. If you don't block off the vents you'll succumb to a gas trap and be forced into an H-scene when you flick the switch. Of note is you can't stand in the Ladder square to push boxes so you'll need to take any boxes meant for 9A or 9E to the 8th position first, push them against the wall and then push them down. Using the picture as a guide, do the following. - Move crate 8B to position 9A - Move crate 5C to position 4C - Move crate 5B to position 5A - Move crate 6B to position 8A - Move Crate 7D to position 7A - Move crate 5D to position 5E - Move crate 6D to position 9E - Move the crate now positioned at 4C to postion 4D - Move crate 3C to position 2C - Move crates 3B and 3D to positions 3A and 3E - Move the crate now positioned at 4D to position 8E - Move crates 2B and 2D to positions 1B and 1D - Move the crate now positioned at 2C to position 2D - Move the crates now positioned at 1B and 1D to positions 1A and 1E, being careful not to hit the switch! - Finally move the crate now positioned at 2D to position 7E This will have blocked all of the vents. Allowing you to hit the switch safely and open the door. [Temple Top] Going to the top will lead to the [Blue Orb] we need as a treasure. [H-Scene/ Crest Count Warning - Doggystyle/Anal/Gangbang] Grabbing the [Blue Orb] will cause the orcs outside to become hostile, if they catch you it will result in an H-scene and being returned to the front of teh temple. Luckily the orcs inside the temple are not hostile, so just go back the way you came until you reach the Orc camp. The orcs move slow but there are 3 of them, so carefully navigate so you don't get cornered. You can also use SHIFT to run. Going down a screen to the forest will intially give 3 orcs chasing, but a 4th will appear blocking the single path out, carefully evade until he is out of the passageway then hurry down to touch the blue crystal. [The Dream World - Hub] Returning to the Hub, place the [Blue orb] on the pedestal to start a short scene before it activates all crystals. We're finished with the Blue Crystal for now, so let's go to the Red Crystal instead [Red Crystal Entrance- Wutai World] You'll find yourself in a Old style Japanese village, and be automatically given the gear [Kunai] and [Kimono]. This entire segment is a stealth/combat segment. As such the entire area is marked as a potential 'Crest Count' hazard, but I will give specifics where required. You will infiltrate the Lord's Castle, trying to get the drop on or avoid enemies as much as possible. Talking to the person on the left will give you a [Riceball] which heals 5hp in combat and can be refreshed by talking to the Riceball lady again, while talking to the centre Miko will tell you to go to the Lord's Castle to find a red orb. There is a house on the left that teaches stealth mechanics, and combat mechanics. To summarise it: - Guards killed will stay dead until you get H'd. - Guards will spot you if you are in front and within 5 tiles of range, guards will chase you until you leave their sight for a few seconds, however, alerted guards remain actively moving and will alert every guard in the room. - If you attack a guard from behind you will insta-kill them without a fight. - Getting into a fight you have can attack, counter, and use items. If you lose you are likely to be H'd. - You recover 1 SP a turn. - Guards will summon reinforcements if you take too long to kill them, this can quickly overwhelm you so end combat quickly! The item shop sells [Shuriken] which can damage and stun an enemy for a turn. This should be largely unnecessary but I will denote areas where shurikens are handy, guards also drop items on defeat so keep that in mind. Head up to the guard to be told to scram, then talk to the Miko again to distract him, head on past to the [Lord's Castle] [Lord's Castle - 1F] MAP [ A8 ] Key [ A7 ] [A10] E Entrance | | | - or | Connection [ ]-[ ]-[ ]-[[A4*]]-[A5] * Sub room of current room [ A6 ]-[ A1 ]-[ A2 ]-[ A3 ] [E] [A1- Entrance Hall - 8 Soldiers] Entering will trigger a short cutscene with the lord and the guards, heading up will get into a 6 way fight and aggro the two roaming guards at the top, I did manage to beat all of them, but I had 1hp left at the end, so head right instead. [Soldier - 13HP] Attack - 1HP Damage Lunge - Bypasses Counter, minigame to dodge or receive damage Prepare to strike - Charges 'Double Slash' for next turn Double Slash - Two hard hits around 3-4 hp each. Can be countered for 8 Hp damage. Call for reinforcements (Passive) - 3 turns after combat starts will call for another Soldier. Summoned soldiers do not have this skill. [H-Scene/ Crest counter warning - Restrained Sex] [A2 - Bridge] Just a bridge connecting A1 to A3 [A3 Prison block - 5 guards] Lots of guards roaming, the bottom area has a chest containing a [Shuriken] but this is unnecessary to get into a fight for. In the upper area a door leads to the cell room. [A4 - Cell room] If you ever get caught you'll end up in the floor below and have to do an escape minigame to leave. Examine the chest to find a [Talisman] Accessory. Equip this to do 1 more damage, which is useful given the random nature of the damage here. Leave back to A3 and continue right to A5. [A5 - Shrine Garden] Nothing much to do here but head to the storehouse on the far right. Sparkling in the bookcase you'll find a scroll stating the following: "To open the path to the Lord's Treasury, look for the imperfection in the mirror" Kate will note she hasn't seen a mirror which is a clue in itself, we need to find a symmetrical room and find the inconsistency. But before that we need to prepare, check your inventory, if you havent already got at least 12 shurikens, then go back to the village and buy some until then, if you want an auto victory go for 14-15. Head out back to A6 when done. [A6 - Hallway - 4 guards] Room is basically empty except for wandering guards, head up to A7 [A7 - The Flower room] Entering here, you get notified of an 'off feeling' if you've been to A5 and read the scroll The truth lies in the 2nd window (denoted by the floor panel being two squares as opposed to its opposite, a rectangle floor panel), click Z on it to reveal a swivel door leading to the treasure room. [A8 - The treasure room] The prize is in the treasure chest, take the [Red Orb] from it and then leave. A funny thing to note is if you examine the angel statue, Kate will recognise it as the statue she graffiti'd on earlier. Leaving will trigger a short scene with the Lord, who will challenge you to a duel. [BOSS - Lord Macha - 40HP] Attack - 3-6 Damage Heal - Heals 9 HP, happens every 4th turn Lunge - Bypasses Counter Stance, minigame to dodge [H-Scene - Held on lap] - This is the only H-scene I'm not sure whether it counts towards Crest counter, as losing here does not trigger the normal scene when you first fail. Further testing required. Let's be honest, given his stats compared to yours, you're just gonna want to pelt him with 15 shurikens until he falls over You can win with 11, but recommended 12 to avoid RNG from screwing you, Losing will send you to room A10, which contains a chest with 2 shurikens and a hot tub to fully heal. Guards will no longer be hostile regardless, so win and take the orb back out to the Hub. An amusing note on the way out will be that speaking to the Guard and Miko in the village will reveal they are getting married. [Dream World - Hub] Placing the red orb down, we now want to head to the green crystal, time to get funky. [Casino Nights - Lobby] Have to say the music is pretty funky here, so important things to note: - You can spend Gold here to purchase items, a VIP ticket costs a lot (100,000G) or you can get a secret way in to the Green Orb. - You can earn more Gold by either 'Playing a Game' which is a tentacle obstacle course or by 'Working as a Maid' which will have you clean a floor. [Tentacle Game] [H-Scene/ Crest counter warning - Tentacles] Set up as a board game, roll a dice, land on gold you get gold, land on red you have to avoid a tentacle. Miss the QTE and you lose clothing, lose all your clothing (2 attacks) and lose again and you get H'd. Win and you get an 1000G winner's bonus on top of all the gold you got normally. I had to try to lose to be honest, the tentacle attacks move fast but are not too hard to dodge, and usually I never got more than 3 squares in a round. Speed is semi fast gold gain [Working as a Maid] Easily the slowest way to earn Gold, avoid, but if you do want to do it. It's set up as a clean tile game. Floors that sparkle are cleaned, if you step on a sparkly floor it becomes unclean. You can easily two step one back to ensure you never leave a tile unclean but its time consuming. Up North is a Slot Machine area [Slot Machines] I'll say this much, not a fan because it makes me feel ill, but it's a way to break up the monotony. Payout is as follows for a 3x match in the centre: 500G machine Blueberry - 1000G Cherry - 1500G Bell - 2000G Coin - 2500G Gold Bar - 3500G Now you can grind for money all day... or you could hit up the slot machine in the corner that the guy warns is broken and doesn't pay out. True to form, it doesn't, unless you match 3 Key symbols. In which case it opens a secret path to the VIP area. [VIP Area] Whether by hook or by crook you got here, so just examine the orb as all the paintings and objects are otherwise for humour or memes. Grabbing the Green Orb will lead to the classic floor falling from underneath you. [Underneath The VIP Area] Okay this is a bit of a maze, and has too many separate rooms to draw a coherent map. Apologies. Instead I'll just give general instructions for each room. The first room is just underneath the VIP room, go right and flick the switch to gain access to Room 2 [Underneath The VIP Area - Room 2] Loop around the outside until you find a switch, hit the switch then loop back around until you reach the top right area, containing a [Guard's Key], head to the bottom right to unlock the cell door and proceed to room 3. [Underneath The VIP Area - Room 3] [H-Scene/ Crest counter warning - Pinned to wall sex] Dash past each line when you can, getting caught will lead to an H-scene, you can skip this after the first time but each time will send you back to Room 2 and the bed. [Underneath The VIP Area - Room 4] Similar to Room 3, except you need to get switches and the lines are desychronised in timing. [Underneath The VIP Area - Room 5] Similar to previous, there are two exits now, one to the south and one east. Go South as you need to hit a switch first. [Underneath The VIP Area - Room 5S] The timing on this one is tight, dash as soon as you see an opening then hit the switch and go back to Room 5, then to the East exit. [Underneath The VIP Area - Room 5E] Dash past the guards to the right and find the [Stone Tablet] Now make your way back through to Room 1 and place the stone tablet in the hole in the wall. While back in the main lobby, stock up on [Riceballs] for the next segment, it's the last chance to get some. They're not needed but you'll want them anyway as you can't recover HP in the next section otherwise. Exit the Casino and go back to the Hub world. [Dream World - Hub] Place the Green Orb in its place and the door at the north will open, leading to the last scenario. [The Legend of Kate] MAP Overworld KEY G - Goal FD- Fire Dungeon [HSM] CS - Camp site ED - Earth Dungeon | F - Forest ID - Ice Dungeon [F]-[ID] [FD] HSM - Hukshot Mountain | | HL - Hero Lake [G]-[CS]-[HL]-[F2] | [F3]-[ED] Well we're in a Zelda-esque environment, enemies move fast here and we don't have much in ways to defend ourselves. Health will drain continuously while in contact with foes, so be quick when dealing with them. Health will drain super fast if you run into enemies, so stay still while swinging or you'll very quickly get H'd. Remember you can either change equipment on the fly or open the menu to equip if you need breathing room. The main area we need to get to is blocked off by grass, so we need to get something to remove it. Head east to the campsite and speak with the Succubus to get a Grappling Glove. Head north through the forest, dodging the slime if you can, to make it to Hukshot Mountain. [H-Scene/ Crest counter warning - Slime] [Hukshot Mountain] Equip the Hukshot and climb up the left side of the mountain. The map loops so just keep finding crystals to climb up and you'll eventually find the [Sacred Flame Thrower] at the top. The [Sacred Flame Thrower] allows you to light certain objects on fire, but doesn't ignite grass Head back to the campsite and light each of the logs to progress. Head east to Hero Lake. [Hero Lake] In the center is the [Hero Sword]. You can easily reach this with the grapple glove, but first head up the mountain and speak with the dwarf. Bridge is out and he needs someone to stand in the rune on the other side. Now go back and use the Grapple Glove to get the [Hero Sword]. The [Hero Sword] lets you kill slimes, but doesn't cut grass. Now head down to the bottom screen, grapple across and make your way up the right side of the mountain till you get to the bridge, fixing it and talking to the dwarf will prompt him to return to his shop in the campsite (left tent). Now head east to Forest 2. [Forest 2] Kill the slime, then grapple up the cliff, kill or avoid both slimes and make your way north [Fire Dungeon Entrance] Use the Sacred flame on the torch to open the Fire Dungeon. [Fire Dungeon] This is easy enough, 5 rooms where you quickly have to light torches to open doors. Remember you have a 2 tile area you can flame so use that to speed it up. At the end you'll get the [Bomb Bag] and 50 x [Bombs]. Keep in mind you can purchase more from the dwarf at the campsite should you need it. The main use of [Bombs] is to blow up rocks and cracks in walls. They however, don't blow up grass... You can pick them up and throw them with Z, you will also take 2 damage if you are in the blast radius. You will also get a gameover if you decide to blow yourself up to 0 HP. Then go back to the room 4 with the crack in the wall, bomb that and proceed to get the [Symbol of Power] to lift boulders. Head back to the campsite by using [Escape Rope], go south through forest 3 and through to the Earth Dungeon Entrance. [Earth Dungeon] [If you somehow get stuck, use the [Escape Rope] It's there for a reason! Room 1 Grapple to the right rock pick it up and throw it to the other side. Now use it as a portable grapple are to throw across the other platforms. Kill the slime and use the boulder to hold the switch down. Room 2 Grapple to the right rock, pick it up and throw it to the other side. Use it to hold down the switch for the door, then once past, pick it up again and throw it onto the next switch Room 3 Cant get past the door without arrows, so need to loop to the left side and go to Room 4 Room 4 Grapple around the room till you get to the [Bow]. The [Bow] allows you to shoot switches that are out of reach, but it still can't cut grass... Go back to Room 3 and shoot the creatures at the side to open up Room 5. The creatures will reset if they are missed so carefully aim. Room 5 Grab the [Emblem of Courage] in the chest. The description simply reads "Anything can be a dildo...IF YOU'RE BRAVE ENOUGH!" No in game effect, do not make it your life motto. Head back over to the campsite, then north to the Forest. Use the Bomb bag to blow open the crack on the right wall to gain access to the Ice Dungeon. [Ice Dungeon] It's time to put it all together for the last dungeon. Room 1 - Blow up Crystal with bomb. Room 2 - Throw Bomb to blow up two crystals. Room 3 - Use arrows to hit switch, then blow up both crystals with a thrown bomb. Room 4 - Put bomb down on runway, shoot bomb with arrow to pin it to far wall and blow up both crystals. Room 5 & 6 - Go through the doors on 5 to Room 6 and pick up the [Emblem of Wisdom]. The description reads "If I collect all 3 I should be able to unlock the M****r Sword" Return now to the campsite and go to Hero Lake, to the podium where you found the Hero Sword. Interact with the sparkle to power up the Hero Sword. IT CAN NOW CUT GRASS. Head back to the goal and swipe away the weeds. If you got the Good End by having less than 7 failures, congratulations! If not then feel free to have another go. There is also an achievement called [Where's the fun in that?] unlocked by having 0 failures.
